I Love Hip Hop Blog - I was definitely amazed when I walked into the Exchange Park Recreation Center in Decatur, GA to see a 12 year old DJ behind the booth DOIN and I mean doing his thing. Being a DJ is a small thing to a Giant mind like Young Priest he says “My entire family is into music so I guess it’s just in my blood”. I was able to briefly speak with Priest and learned he’s a very busy young man. He recently hosted his first mixtape for upcoming young artist #Tekaboo [Triple Threat]. In Addition to efforts to make a name for himself DJ Priest is also a young Author, and has just released his first book titled “Go DJ” and is available online at Amazon.com. Being able to interview with Priest today was definitely an honor; Manifested in front of me was a young man who is determined to succeed beyond his environment or situation, that Drive and Motivation that’s missing in many young men and women today.
