Fred The Godson tackles DJ Tedsmooth’s “Murder Ink” (remix) derived from The Chronic 2001. The remixed beat: a rock. Fred The Godson’s bars: a hard place. Me: stuck. I would have loved to have heard the original “Mur-der-er!” chorus, but this definitely suffices. Note: There is also a similar concept rendition by DJ Tedsmooth and Joell Ortiz called “I Tote Guns” over the Dr. Dre original, “Keep Their Heads Ringin.”
