I Love Hip Hop - Chief Keef’s star continues to rise. After Kanye West spotlighted the young Chicago native wit his I Don’t Like G.O.O.D. Remix, he’s been courting deals with Jeezy’s CTE, Birdman’s Cash Money, and presumably Waka Flocka’s Bricksquad Monopoly. This video comes from a track from Bo Deal’s The Chicago Code 3 mixtape, dropping later today.  I’m all for gangsta/trap rap, and fully understand that it conveys yet another facet of how some people live but I feel apprehensive about its direct influence on the younger generation. Keef is only16, and is now in a position to no longer be a product of his dangerous environment. I just hope that he remains more committed to the music than the lifestyle in the coming years.
