50 Cent ft Kidd Kidd – Niggas Be Schemin

                   I Love Hip Hop Blog – 50 Cent is currently fighting a stomach virus. So since he has to cancel performances but still trying to get some buss for his new music, he dropped a new video. His new song “N****s Be Schemin” features a new artist Kidd Kidd. The video was too long. The first four minutes of the video was a mini movie. I’m down for videos having a story-line but if the story can’t be said while the song is playing then you should go with another theme. I doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out this song and video is about “n****s schemin” (no pun intended). Even when the video was in full gear, it still sucked! The director of this video was Eif Rivera. I dont know if I should blame the director for filming this crap or blame 50 cent for seeing the finished product and signed off on this horrific video. Maybe 50 was in so much pain from his stomach virus that he just told the director to put it out as is…BAD CALL!

I Love Hip Hop Blog  - What does Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown and Nas have in common? They are all in the First Lady of YMCMB Right By My Side video which is directed by Benny Boom.. Chris brown is featured on the record so it’s no big deal to have him in the video. But Nas?!?! He plays the love interest of Nicki Minaj…interesting right?? Out of ALL the rappers that could’ve been her love interest she chose to have Nas play that role (hmmm…). I love the song and now I love the video. Nicki Minaj is cutting back from all that cartoon/animated faces and antics that she’s oh so famous for. I like the calmed down version of Nicki Minaj and it was a great look for this video. SPOILER ALERT: Nicki Minaj and Nas kisses each other at the end of the video. I think I hear wedding bells. lol  Look at it for yourself below.

I Love Hip Hop Blog – Everyone is familiar with Future’s song,  Same Damn Time. It’s all you hear on the radio and in the clubs. It even came up on Pandora as I was listening to “Rihanna Radio” (don’t know what they share in common), but you can’t escape this song. Now there is an official remix to this very popular song featuring Diddy and Ludacris. I liked the song before but I love the remix! Whoever is writing for Diddy (probably T.I.) is doing a very good job and Ludacris delivered as always. Take a listen below!!

Hot 97 Just Announced The Line-Up For Summer Jam 2012

I Love Hip Hop Blog – Angie Martinez and everyone at Hot 97 fm just annouced the Line-up for the 2012 ‘Summer Jam’. There will be live performaces from Tyga, J.Cole, 2Chainz, Big Sean, Rick Ross, Trey Songz, Meek Mill, Maino, Wacka Flocka and Wale just to name a few. And guess who is the headliner of the Summer Jam 2012 you ask?! The one and only Nicki Minaj!!!! That’s right ladies and gentlemen…Hot 97 Summer Jam is offcially better than Hot 107.9′s  Birthday Bash! I think I need to get a ticket and join these festivities. The Summer Jam 2012 will be held at the Met Life Stadium in New Jersey on June 3rd. Just in case you will be able to go tickets are on sale!!!

50 Cent Releases First Single Off Of “Gangsta Grillz” Mixtape

I Love Hip Hop Blog - 50 Cent  haven’t put out his own music in a while. Yeah he’s featuring on a couple songs, but I just when I started to miss listening to 50 Cent putting out his own music he releases a single.  50 is working on mixtape, titling , “Gangsta Grillz.” Teaming up with 50 Cent on this project is DJ Drama. The first song released from the mixtape is Remain Calm, featuring Snoop Dogg and a new female rapper, Precious Paris. 50 doesn’t disappoint, so with that… I love this record!!! Lil’ Kim Releases Another Song Off Of Her Newest Mixtape Entitled “Countin Money” [AUDIO]

I Love Hip Hop Blog - It’s no surprise that Lil’ Kim is trying to make a come-back on the music scene. This mixtape that Lil’ Kim is working on is entitled, “I.R.S. South Tax Season.” Recently the track she collaborated with Jezzy on entitled, Keys to the City was dropped as the premiere single for the mixtape. Now she’s dropped another song entitled Countin’ Money. To be honest…I don’t like this song. I was able to vibe to the song her and Jezzy collaborated on but not this new song so much. It’s not the Lil’ Kim we use to love. I think Lil’ Kim has lost her swag, flow and from listening to this track, she’s lost some loyal fans as well.
