Nas Releases Video For Song “The Don” From Newest Album [VIDEO]

April 27th, 2012 | By

I Love Hip Hop Blog – Nas is slated to drop his newest ablum, Life Is Good, on July 17th this summer. There is clearly no time being wasted between dropping singles and videos for Nas this time around. The video for the, “The Don”, is a good mixture of beautiful women, bottles of champagne, tailored-made suits, nice birds eye view of New York City and of course a couple clean Rolls Royces. Nas also got a couple street shots and club scenes but this video is FAR from being in a realm of Waka Flocka or Gucci! This video is refreashing due to the fact there wasn’t hlaf naked women getting dollar bills thrown at them. Can’t do anything but respect Nas for this song and video. Look at the video below and give me your opinion.

Warren G drops “Party We Will Throw Now” Ft. Nate Dogg and The Game [Audio]

April 24th, 2012 | By

I Love Hip Hop Blog –  Warren G is currently working on a project to drop his EP this summer. He allowed DJ Skee to premiere his single, Party We Will Throw Now, which features The Game and the late great Nate Dogg. This is a great time to drop a summer hit right before classes are done this semester so people like myself can be one of the first to blast this single when the summer parties are in full effect! Just in case you were wondering if they recorded this song before the death of Nate Dogg, the hook was unrelease and Warren G felt it wasa great add-on. Listen to the single and tell me if this song that will be on your play-list this summer.

Goodie Mob Is Back On The Scene With A New Single [VIDEO]

April 24th, 2012 | By

I Love Hip Hop Blog –  Cee-Lo Green, Khujo, Big Gipp and T-Mo are the members of the group Goddie Mob and they are back on the music scene. Goodie Mob was one of the biggest Hip Hop male groups from back in the day. Last night on NBC’s show, The Voice, the Atlanta based group performed their new single entitled Fight To Win. Considering the fact Cee-Lo is a judge on the show, it’s perfect timing that the group decided to make a come-back! They wore gladiator-like gold costumes to tie in the concept of a fighter. But it looks to me that it’s Cee-Lo group and they are his back ground singers or something. All in all I liked the song and I think  it’s a good look for the group. Check out their performance from last night and tell me what you think about the come-back!

2Chainz Disscus Kanye’s G.O.O.D. Music Camp and Tyler, The Creator Diss

April 12th, 2012 | By

I Love Hip Hop Blog – 2Chainz was a guest on The Angie Martinez Show this morning. Of course there was talks of his up and coming album and his recent collaborations with Kanye West and Nicki Minaj. When Martinez asked 2Chainz about a possible signing with Kanye’s G.O.O.D Music camp he kinda hesitated a little but didn’t confirm or deny the possible music venture. The topic about Tyler, The Creator came up about dissing his verse on Nicki Minaj song, “Beez in the Trap”. Basically 2Chainz gave dude a pass and referred to Hip Hop as being like high school. He elaborated by saying:

“The Tyler, the Creator dude, he has an opinion. He doesn’t like the verse, I didn’t say nothing. I retweeted his verse and I told him maybe Nicki should have asked him to do it so he could’ve rode his bike in the video. People are gonna say slick stuff on Twitter, but I can’t trip. It’s Twitter.”

Sounds like 2Chainz isn’t one for beef…at least for now. But he did make it clear that he is not on the level of Tyler, The creator, so if it’s something that needs to be said they can just talk it out. Nice look for him to take the high road.

Kanye West Reavealing Feelings About Wiz, Amber and Kim K

April 5th, 2012 | By

Mercy” from G.O.O.D Music

Feelings About Wiz, Amber and Kim K

I Love Hip Hop Blog – Kanye has eluded to dropping some new music on Good Friday. But before Kanye could release “Mercy” from G.O.O.D Music, Funkmaster Flex beat him to the punch. Yesterday Flex dropped a track from Kanye and DJ Khaled called, “Theraflu”. In the song, West talks about Amber Rose, Wiz Kalifa, Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries. From the lyrics of the song, it seems that West is cool with the engagement of Kalifa and Rose. He also says he fell in love with Kim Kardashian. Im feeling good about this G.O.O.D Music  that is to come from Kanye West. Here are some of the lyrics from “Theraflu”:

“And the whole industry want to f*** your old chick

Only n**** I got respect for is Wiz

And I admit I fell in love with Kim

‘Round the same time she fell in love with him

Well that’s cool, babygirl do your thing

Lucky I ain’t had Jay drop him from the team”

It’s not clear if this song will be a top single but whatever it is, I’ll take it! This song has me on the egde of my seat of what’s next to come! I can’t wait til tomorrow for this new music from Kanye. It’s been a long time Hip Hop has been waiting for another Kanye West album. And from the looks of it, we are closer to being satisfied!

Diggy Beefing With J. Cole?!

April 1st, 2012 | By

Diggy Beefing With J. Cole

I Love Hip Hop Blog – Rapper Diggy can’t get nominated for an award before he’s in the middle of a beef. ALLEGEDLY Diggy didn’t like the reference of him in the first verse of J. cole’s “Grew Up Fast”:

“Move along cock-sucker, ain’t got nothing to see, ‘less you talking blockbuster, you niggas is not Russell You more Diggy, Me, I’m more Biggie No diss to the young boy, I’m just rapping, get bored quickly”

ALLEGEDLY that’s just the tip of the iceburg. The second verse of J. Cole’s “Purple Rain” just added fuel to the fire when he said:

“Good girl huh, father was a preacher sent her off to college thought I got her on a leash though from the outside though, them girls be the squeakiest you get ‘em inside them girls be the freakiest mischievous, downright devious say she want cake I got all the right ingredients running round fronting like a pure white virgin gave a n-gga dome while her father gave a Sermon Amen, let the choir sing she be walking round campus like the quiet thing so n-ggas scared to approach when they admiring man if they know like I know she got that fire thing pour a little OJ with some P-trone I’m feeling ok, but homie she’s gone when remmy Rev called she just ignore him I had her calling on God till the weed and than I hit the door n-gga.”

You know rev. Run son can’t go out like a sucka. So what does he do? ALLEGEDLY he releases a response to the “diss” on his “What You Say To Me” track:

“The other day I was listening to “Purple Rain,” couldn’t believe all of the things that I heard em say Who dat, who dat, you know who it is, heard you lying on my sis, tellin people that you hit when your album drops I’ma hit you with your bricks, so I’ma bomb first on you since you wanna riff who you gonna call, you ain’t got no friends, this fight is fixed, you ain’t got no wins, little nigga named Cole think he live like me, jet setter trend setter, yeah you not like me can’t find a girl that you know that do not like me, can’t find a girl I know, who know you, you dumb fool wasn’t even poppin’ in the school you used to go to.”

“Gotta “aight” lyrics but can’t deliver your vocals I’ma about to read you your rights, Miranda only thing you hittin “In The Morning” is your Hand stand up, matter fact sit down don’t try to call Hovi Hov for a sit down College boy, acting like a criminal knowing you a broke back Jake Gyllenhaal You imaginary player, even TMZ didn’t notice you was there Geesh, you are such a dweeb and your shirts don’t fit, long arms, short sleeves.”

Now Rev. Run is stating Diggy song is old. Im not buying it!

Rev. Run isn’t the only person talking about this matter, look at what Diggy’s sister Vanessa said:
