Last month Tyga let the Breakfast Club and viewers know that even though he signed to Young Money he still works as if he’s an independent artist. I Love Hip Hop Blog - Def Jam Records has been making a lot of transitions this year. This past March label president Joie Manda exited Def Jam and went to their competitor Interscope Records. A&R Sha Money XL who was senior Vice President at Def Jam announced yesterday that he’s going to Epic Records. Today Shawn “Pecas” has been promoted to Executive Vice President after serving  3 years as senior VP.  Congrats “Pecas”, he’s one of the best in the industry to work with.
